DVD and Games problems

    Hi guys, I think I know the answer to this question but would welcome other ideas. The PC in question has a TNT2 graphics card, I have checked it out and I know it has a problem with the memory but it runs ok in windows and applications.
    If I try to play a DVD using Win DVD it locks up or if I try a game it locks with a blank screen.:dead:
    I think the memory is the problem and when it is stressed it just gives up. Any other ideas to save me changing the card.:)
