dvd cleaning

    HI, I need to know if anyone can help me remove permanent marks that are on the face side (read side) of a DVD. I had used a Sharpie to mark my dvd with my name and now my DVD can not be read by my dvd player. If anyone can tell what I can use to remove these mark this will be very helpful. Thank You.

    I don't see why you couldn't use acetone (nail polish remover). It takes just about anything up. Just be careful as it might take the recordable part of the DVD off as well, so be careful.
