DVD drive wont play dvd's

    Hey its me again.
    I tried installing adobe premiere elements 7 today , and i found out its DVD formatted my dvd rom player wont play burned dvds, or movies, DVD-r or any DVDs at all How can i get it to play them? i heard something about a decoder but i dont want to waist my money if it wont help,

    It does play DVDs, so therefore it must be a faulty drive
    Please replace it (I usually clean it first, with one of those cleaning discs)
