    I have a DVD+R disk with many pictures. My problem is that all of a sudden I cannot bring up any pictures on my computer. There are no files or folders to click on to view the pictures. When I checked the used space it said 1.3 GB used out of 4.7 GB. How can I extrtact these files of pictures from this disk or has it just gone bad. Many merories on the disk. Hate to lose the pics.

    In similar circumstances, a data disk however, I was able to open with the same software that I recorded it with.

    When you say the disc is showing 1.3 GB of used space and also free space it makes me think the disk hasn't been finalized. If this is the case, the only software that would read it is the original burning suite. If a disc has been closed (finalized) properly you should be able to access it in Windows Explorer.
