Dvd recorder

hi people, my set up is I have my lcd tv connected to my pc but I was wondering if I could connect a dvd recorder to the tv also and be able to record the games I play online , just wondering would it cause problems or maybe I need some sort of pro gramme to make it happen? . cheers

Just a guess but....

I'm guessing you're talking about a standalone DVD recorder. In that case, as long as the TV has an extra set of outputs I don't see what could go wrong.
