  1. If anyone could offer up some enlightenment to me,just picked up a new lcd(nec 19 1860nx) an a video card (FX 5950 ultra).I noticed both have DVI connections would it be better to use that over the analog connections?

Is their a difference like video,S-video,composite video?

    Any input would be great,thanks

The DVI connection would be better because the signal would not need to be converted from digital to analogic.

Sometimes you can have cards with cheap components ( *cough*Club3D*cough ;) ) for the VGA connector but which have a crystal clear signal on the DVI port ( which pretty much comes straight from the frame buffer ).
