Dvi tv problem

hi guys i am wondering if anyone can help me i am trying to connect my laptop to my tv through dvi cables when i have them hooked up and turn on my laptop its all fine on startup then when what seems to be my mcafee or somthing that starts at the same time the screen on my tv starts flickering on and off the laptop screen stays fine could anyone help me with this problem?

Remove McAfee completely, and install AVG or Avast free software... Your system will love you for doing this. See if your video stabilizes

I agree, except on the AVG part

Try Free Antivirus like Avast or Avira

Probably just personal preference. But AVG is now high on resource
