I fixed the dxgkrnl.sys bsod by replacing the ram.

What are your systems specs? Computer make and model? Video card, power supply type and size

OS: Vista 64bit Ultimate SP2
HDD: Western Digital Sata 640gb
Processor: Intel i7 940 2.93ghz
Video Card: ATI Radeon HD 4870x2
RAM: Samsung 6gb DDR3 1066
Motherboard: Intel x58
PSU: 1000w

Does this happen only when playing a single game, or also at other random times?
 
It happens with any graphic intensive ones usually, but it has BSODed while playing others that aren't quite as intense graphicwise.
It doesn't happen outside of games.

Thanks, it was a bit pricey though. =P
