Is the E2200 Intel Dual Core 2.2ghz 2 cores at 1200mhz or 2 cores at 2.2Ghz?

I suspect if you have a e2200 and it is running at 1200mhz, then it's very likey that it's intel's speedstep technology kicking in to reduce heat and power consumption during low system usage.

Is EIST bad to have enabled? Or is that good?

It's basically just used to reduce power consumption on laptops, so, I suppose it varies between situations eh?
