Medal of Honor has only been in store shelves for roughly a week, but Electronic Arts has already announced it will release a multiplayer DLC pack and two additional maps for the rebooted first person shooter. The free download brings a new match option called Clean Sweep, which according to the company’s description it’s an “elimination mode where players must rely on their own skill and teammates’ expertise to prevail as the winning team.”

The two new maps, Bagram Hangar and Khyber Caves, will provide settings for the combat along with redesigned versions of the Diwagal Camp and Kabul City Ruins maps that are currently available for the game. EA's infamous Online Pass code will be required to get the free DLC, so if you manage to get your hands on a used copy it’ll be an extra $10 for the download.

EA also revealed that Medal of Honor has sold 1.5 million copies since its debut, despite some underwhelming early reviews. The new maps and mode will be available for download on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network beginning November 2, but the announcement didn't mention anything about the PC.

This game is not worth half of its price. Played the first mission, and I knew it would suck.

And the sad thing is that EA gets away with it.

story was ok, mutliplayer seems great, the game was very easy even on hard and teir 1 mode

The multiplayer is the most over simplified console port I've ever seen. No recoil weapons and sniping with assault rifles. DICE HQ should be demolished.

Just because they used the Frostbite engine doesn't mean Dice had any control on the gameplay.

Ya the multiplayer felt pretty uninspired and generic. Bit disappointed in DICE but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt until BF3 since they are working on multiple projects and likely didn't have enough time to really focus on MoH. Danger Close however doesn't have any excuse for such a short campaign.

yeah the game is way too arcadish.... I played it for a few minutes and got bored. I prefer games with some realism to the "real guns" that are in the game. There was no recoil so we might as well be using paintball guns.

Yeah, very disappointed in this. 3-4 hours of entertainment from the woefully short single player campaign. Multiplayer environments/maps were good but the lack of sliding into cover and leaning that were featured in the single player make it a very bland multiplayer offering. Played the multiplayer for a couple of evenings and feel I'll not be going back to play it again.
