eax screws up in halo

hey, i have a ga-7n400 pro mobo with a mcp-t soundstorm

i have the latest mobo drivers (3.13) and for some reason when i run eax in halo the sound is all wierd when im running eax, sounds all good when im not running it in halo, is there anything i can do to get eax running ok on halo?

the sound in Halo with EAX on is messed up on my system too (and i have a Audigy2). i get missing sound clips during the cutscenes with EAX on. probably the best thing to do is disable EAX in Halo.
