  1. I got an email with an emi extension but when I try to open it Yahoo changes it to a pps extension. Neither one will open the pictures. They were sent through outlook express (which I don't use). Is there a converter? I've never had this happen before. So far I've put about 3 hours in to see some cute dog pictures. Any help would be appreciated.

It seems that the 'emi' extension is acutally an 'eml' extension which is the email format for Outlook Express. You'll receive that when you forward email as attachment. In that case you'll need to open your Windows Explorer and 'unassociate the 'eml' extension with Powerpoint and associate it with MS Outlook or Outlook Express. You might try saving the email to your computer and try opening it from the Windows Explorer
