End of the world

  1. My world crumbled as soon as juan manuel marquez (mexico) floored my idol manny pacquiao (philippines) in the 6th round.

(it's deja vu again. the first time was when lebron james "gave up" the fight against the boston celtics in the nba finals 2010)

I am a fan to both boxers, because they have the attitude of never giving up.

from what I read about them, both have humble beginnings and both are great fighters...but still, for manny to go down like that in the 6th round is so heart-breaking.

Sorry, not a boxing fan. I said "oh sh*t" when he got floored.

Pardon my thoughts, but I see no reasoning in a sport where you get your brains beat to a pulp for big $$$ only to end up like Cassius Marcellus Clay, Jr.; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muhammad_Ali
Last time I saw Cassius on tv, he sat there like a vegetable.

And yet Pacquiao quit, for no better reason than loss of consciousness...:(
