Erasing the OS

  1. bstedne18 Newcomer, in training

    I have windows XP on a PC, and I'm trying to take it off. I booted from the XP CD, and am at the set-up. This is where I become lost. Any advice? I heard it wasn't that hard, but then again, I'm not a computer wiz.

    the answer to your question is: Format the HD OR reformat the partition.

    the system will no longer boot AND all data WILL be lost.
