Error when trying to uninstall old programs

  1. Hi There,

    I am trying to uninstall a couple programs on my desk top computer that uses Windows Vista and I get an error message that reads:

    "The installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the source exists and that you can access it."

    I don't have an initial installation disks for these programs. How can remove these programs?

    I've had problems like that in the past after using aggressive clean up utilities and registry cleaners.
