Excel freezes

    I've just gone through a malware cleanup on my computer and now when I try to use Excel, that has multilpe tabs with linked formulas, Excel will not open fully and the only way to close the Excel document is by using the Program Manger.

    try running Excel -> New Spreadsheet -> save as ->quit;

    now dbl-click on the new file
