Excessing hard drive being used with no justification

Hello,
In addition to my previous concern of black bars in my add/remove programs, I also am showing almost a full 30G hard-drive when I should have at about 20G free space. What could be taking up the space?

You'll probably have to wait for a HJT guru to come along, but have you tried just opening up C: and selecting the different folders and looking at how much space each one takes? You can try to trace down where all the space is used up and find out what is causing it there.

Another excellent method is to boot a Ubuntu live CD and use the "Disk Space Analyzer." It will show you graphically where the space on your drive is being used and how it is distributed.
