.exe Bad image warnings

Hi everyone. My problem is:

Every time I open a program I see the same bad image exe warning.

For example, it says:

EXCEL.EXE – BAD IMAGE
The application of DLL C:\PROGRA~1\SEARCH~1\Datamngr.dll is not a valid windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette.

Is there anyway to get rid of this? I have an HP Media Center desktop computer running Windows XP 2002, Service Pack 3.

I ran Hijackthis and here’s the log:

Ouch Looks like you will need to remove some software and run some virus scans. Any software that states it optimizes, tunes-up, speed's up, fixes driver's is lying you will need to remove those. I also do not like toolbars and such being they leave backdoor ports open allowing virus's, worm's, or Malware to sniff you out so I would remove the ones you don't use. Google and Yahoo are ok but if you have a coupion printer or shopping toolbar you don't need it.

Use REVO Uninstaller to remove unecessary software.
I would also run Malwarebytes, Hitman Pro, and maybe tds killer to make sure nothing has inserted itself into your MBR. The following links below will get your software. Start with this and if you are not sure what to remove let me know.

http://ninite.com/malwarebytes-revo/ This is for Malwarebytes and Revo, Update Malwarebytes
http://www.surfright.nl/en/hitmanpro/ Click on 32 bit or 64 bit depending on your OS prob 32 bit

You will more than likely need to repair your office install or possibly windows you can try the following as well.

Go to Start\Run\ Type in cmd and hit enter.
In black windows type the command SFC /SCANNOW and hit enter. Let it run it's course. Let me know how this works for you.

You either have (or had) a malware infection. That DLL is referenced in a browser object. I suggest you go to our malware forum, read the sticky at top forum go through the steps for them to check you out

/* EDIT */
Ooops. I didn't see verneronomous already replied.

Thx guys! I ran Combofix (I think it's called) following it directions from another forum and everything seems to be fine now (no more popup dll windows). So, hoping all is cool. :)
