    ii got the visual c++ explorer.exe error

    i got xp sp 2 and i get the message all the time if im at the internet just surfing opening sites or playing a video.

    it happaned just after a i had a virus that made my c: drive no acces. fixed that with a program called hardrive flash i think and reformmated xp but than the problem started what do i need to do?

    Hard to say, but likely you have installed something which was designed with C++, and there is residual software remaining...
    If it were mine, I would reformat the drive and reinstall from scratch...
