External 56k modem to router through serial port

    The Router type is a D-Link Di-824-VUP and the modem is a Zoom 3049. Alright, I am getting I cannot Control the modem from the network but I take, that it will connect to the internet through this port to the network. We do not have DSL or Cable internet avalible.
