External hard disk not recognized

    Hi,
    I have Toshiba Roco Sata HDD 160GB external Hard Disk.It works fine.Unfortunately it fell down and its not showing any drive letters.I had data around 100 GB.Can anyone please help me to resolve this issue.

    First things,

    - Check with Disk Management Consel
    - Uninstall reinstall drivers

    and, btw. when you connect drive for detection, don't plug in a "hot" cable when testing. Best to let computer detect the power off/power on transition from my experience
