Recently, my external hard disc dropped down frm my writing table on to floor, After that, I connected it to my PC, the PC detected the hardware yet the PC did not show ''Hard drive'' when I clicked on ''My Computer''. Is my hard disc spoiled and cannot be repaired anymore??SAD............ T.T ...a lot of my pictures are inside...

Does it spin up? Is it making any noise (Clicks?).
If it was running when it fell, there's every chance it's dead.
HD s are not a good choice for backing up important files.
Cloud or optical storage is safer and more reliable.

The next step is to remove it from the case, which may have been damaged in the fall. Attach it via USB or directly to your machine and see if it's detected then.
