  1. I just heard from one of my friends that facebook is going to come out with a facebook phone, after I searched it on google I thought wow I can't wait. Then I thought maybe its going to be like the chrome book where you may only use chrome apps unless you load another OS onto it like Ubuntu but in this case you do everything through facebook, is this true? Any info on the facebook phone would be helpful. Thanks

I can't be bothered finding links, sorry. But here's my understanding:
    - It's just software based.
    - It's only the launcher in Android. As in, the home screen and app slider. In this case, any Android phone should be able to run it.
    - They are launching it with an HTC phone to label it as a 'FB Phone', because they kinda have to have something physical.

It's not just for HTC first. they will make "Facebook Home" available for several android devices like Galaxy S3, Galaxy S4, and the likes
