    Hi,
    I'm a new user and I need help learning how to get my computer back to Factory Settings. I've purchased a new computer and want to give this one to a family...but want to make sure everything is off before I pass it on.

    If you have the original system disks that were supplied with the PC when new, I would use them to reinstall everything. The process should be automatic and will clear the drive of your data files.
