I have a NVIDIA Geforce FX 5500 video card and I have been having some errors when trying to play some games. I ran a DXdiag and did the Test 3D and it failed. Any idea what the problem could be? Thanks in advance.

Here is the Dxdiag log.......

Most likely a bad card.

Thank you for your fast reply Raybay.
I truely think this card has been bad from the get go as I have never gotten good performance from it.
Guess I will go video card shopping heh.
Thanks again.

Computer "stupid" here, need help please

I have played hidden object games by Big Fish for years now, but yesterday it wouldn't let me play.......got error message:

Assertion Failure
.\Directx8\dx8 device
cpp(245): (All Builds)
Expression was: (!Failed (result))
Failed to create 3d3 device

So, I have read some of the posts here as was told to go to Start, type in dxdiag, do a check, go to display and run.....did 3 tests, all went well, next instruction was to make sure that "direct draw acceleration, direct 3d acceleration and direct agp texture acceleration were all enabled". Tests went fine, but this display screen would NOT let me enable these 3 things, beside each entry it said "not available". I tried this in safe mode, too, still same result. I went to Microsoft DirectX and downloaded, that went well, went back to that "display" and still the same result. Anyone have a clue what I can do to resolve this problem? Thanks.

Another problem I have is that when I turn on my computer I always get this error message:
RUNDLL
Error loading
The specified module could not be found

This error doesn't seem to bother anything I'm doing so I just close it.

Ok, finally I have one more problem. Now when I'm turning my computer on, not just a RUNDLL error comes, but now this new one:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Program C:\Program Files\BigFix\bigfix.exe
This application has requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

So, I have contacted Big Fix and still no reply! I told you, I'm computer stupid.

If anyone has time time to help me, I would be so appreciative!

Thanks
