Fake Alert Trojan through MSN - logs attached

By Sneakrz4life
Jan 5, 2009
  1. I received the Fake Alert Trojan through an MSN message. It came in as a file download with my Hotmail address as part of the link.

I downloaded the file, scanned it with AVG Free and it came up clean. So, I opened the file and only then did AVG give me an alert. Unfortunately, I went ahead and opened the file anyway.

So, thank you for the clean-up steps. I went through all the programs and have attached all the logs. Can someone please check my logs. The HJT log has a lot of things listed and I don't know which should be removed from my computer.

    Thank you very much.
