I was just trying to install a ccfl fan that lights up. And uhh that didnt work out to well. Not knowing what to do i ended up just trying to plug it in to the old fans connection, and it ended up shutting off my computer. I had disconnect the power and hold the power button and just mess with it to get it back on. now my stock fan dosent work. When i plug it in it moves very little. but thats it. What do i do?

If I'm following what you've postyed, then did you try switching fans while system was powered up?
This being so, you may well have spiked (electrical shock) the MoBo! :dead:
I have in recent times shut off a system from static build up by just touching
the case. Comp started right up after.
    If possible try new MoBo.
