Filezilla "EAI_FAIL" and "EACCES - Permission denied"

Hi,

Please excuse-me in advance if the topic does not contain all information right away, or if it is not at the right place.

I have a problem uploading content via Filezilla under Windows 7, on an HP p6720f i just purchased. The domain is hosted by godaddy, my ISP is ATnT (their 2701HG-B box).

If i try to connect typing the domainname in the "Host" case, i get:
Connection attempt failed with "EAI_FAIL - Nonrecoverable failure in name resolution".
If i try to connect typing the DNS number in the "Host" case, i get:
"EACCES - Permission denied"

I disabled all firewalls
I tried the netsh manipulations form topic139311
as the apprentice sorcerer i am (And that's how i discovered you guys)

If anybody can help, i'll have to put your name in the website's "powered by" section... Once it is online!

try some of these tests for TCP connectivity

Ping using an address shows connections are working.

Ping using a domain.name shows that DNS lookup is working as well as connectivity.

Nslookup does name resolution by both address and name

Filezilla is a FTP tool and apparently has both client and server support.
Windows/* already has FTP Client support (start->run->ftp),
so why use Filezilla?
