films dont have smooth playback

    i run xp pro and convert my films in neo dvd but when they are burnt to dvd and play back every now and again its like it drops a frame can anyone help ?

    Your graphics card (ATI Rage) is fairly outdated and probably does not have much memory (4-8MB). An upgrade to an ATI Radeon from series 8500 upwards, with 64MB or 128MB will help solve this problem.

    thanks but i used to have alot slower graphic card before and it worked ok then the frames dont drop when played on my pc only when the film is put onto dvd then played back on my home dvd player

    You mean the playback is choppy when you play the DVD on a DVD player, not on your computer? You could try using another brand of DVD media or different burning options (slower speed for example).
