First BSOD in a while

Well I followed your advice and so far I've only received one reply telling me that OAFree3.5 will be out soon so I guess I'll just have to wait for that until then. While doing all that though the computer stopped working completely, something about live messenger not getting something from the system, I didn't have a chance to take a pic of it. The machine totally went blank and then on reboot the wonderful BSOD pops up so now I have another minidump. Please tell me if I'm getting annoying wit all these requests, it's just that i have no other way to find out what's really causing them =S

Your error is 0x000000C5: DRIVER_CORRUPTED_EXPOOL
An attempt occurred to touch invalid memory at a process IRQL that is too high. This is almost always caused by drivers that have corrupted the system pool. If you’ve recently installed any new software, check to see if it’s properly installed; and check for updated drivers on the manufacturer’s web site.

Nothing definite but it could be OA. And, no, you're not getting annoying. :approve:

well I've recently installed Windows debugging tool x86, GIMP 2.6.6, Google Chrome and Limewire all in the past 8 days. How would i check if they're properly installed? they all run fine so far. maybe i should uninstall and reinstall everything that i've installed recently? could that help?

I highly doubt it is the Debugging tool nor Gimp which has been around for quite some time. Perhaps Chrome but I am leaning towards Limewire, but I am only guessing.

Perhaps you are dealing with an infection.

limewire for some reason opens itunes when it finishes a download, that's the only problem i've seen with it. but i'll uninstall those two eventually. i'll be in touch with MSI during the week to see when i can return the machine to have the memory problem sorted out. hopefully it's all due to that.
