i'm also waiting desperately for crysis. it's one of the best games ever.
but it's disheartening to know that they've changed the game setting from forest setting to city street's. i'll really miss that.. crysis really took that to another level !

crysis is the best game I ever played........its graphics is best of the best.....I'really impressed by crysis.......after playing crysis with high end graphics card I''m became a game fan. I'm waiting for halo 3 for pc.

its doesn't matter I played in my frens' pc.

Nobody needs to upgrade anything.

IMO as this is a cross platform game (made with the lowest common denominator in mind - The consoles) it will not tax high end PC's and easily playable on mid-range set-ups.

Also,

Some one asked how Crytek are able to pump out games.
Well they've only developed 3 games; Not including C2.

These screen-shots look amazing. However, I didnt exactly enjoy the first Cyrsis, and I am eager to see how this one turns out

I think this game will be the reason to upgrade. I´m sure the PC version will look better than the console version.

I just hope the DRM will not be too ridicoulous.
I do not want to stay online to play, or to be limited in the number of times i can move the game to a new PC.

Crysis is definitely not made to boost video card sales. Whoever thinks that is obviously having a hard time understanding that their video card won't be able to play Crysis 2, which by the way looks amazing. If Crytek was trying too boost card sales, they would make the game even more demanding than it is, so that only high-end cards could play the game. Something that many people don't realize is that Crysis will run on an "ok" video card, even though the quality will have to be turned down. And for the average gamer, a mid to high end card will play the normal Crysis at respectable frame rates.

The 360 will do a fine job of handling Crysis 2. The PC version will obviously have sharper textures and one or two other goodies. Maintaining a top spec desktop system is not everybody's cup of tea.

Crysis2.... the Crytek engine must continue to bring revenue to the company... this is that part where development cost is lower and expected income is higher...

YES! its called business! ...yayyyyyyyyy. tomorrow we'll work on identifying small appliances.
speaking of development...don't forget your helmet, so you don't ruin yours...yayyyyy!
your going to Hawaii!

Can't wait for this game... I just hope that a Dual Core and a 4870 1 Gb can take this to 1280 * 1024 on full details!

Awesome screenshots! can't wait to play this game and not mention its coming to the 360 please!!! Let this game have multiplayer please because it'll proabably be the best FPS ever! Wait... Crysis is the best fps for the PC right now isn't it? Warhead included too hm.. of course it is, anyways from the screenshots I know its gonna be awesome and look awesome. Its in a whole new environment and I'm ready to game!

WRONG! The reason this game is taking so long to develop is because they are having to take the PC version and then throttle it down to a console version. So you WILL STILL need to start working for NASA in the next few months if you hope to run Crysis 2 on ultra.

ehh not sure i like the urban setting over the tropical islands... i liked being in semi-wideopen spaces sniping guys and not cramped into buildings. who knows though maybe it will work better, but I thought the tropical setting was awesome, like in the first Far Cry. I just don't want Crysis to turn into Modern Warfare 3... and of course CryTek is seeking to rake in more profit. That's pretty much the main reason they are migrating to consoles too. Easy money.

It's an excellent game... I hope I would have the chance to play this game....
I love computer games but I don't have enough resources at this time...

far cry 2 was developed by ubisoft not crytek. anyways crysis 2 looks like an insane game. gonna have to upgrade my 9800gt. I wanna max this baby

Dont worry it wont be a hardware monster because they are making it to run on the XBOX which has half the video capability of current video cards. I just hope the PC version isnt dumbed down to console level therefore makeing the game a noobland
