Woops never mind I forgot that the gtz1336 is for socket 775 xD

The gtz is 775 native, but I have the 1336 bracket for it.

If you call it you can have it, give me an address and pay for the shipping, that is all.

Thanks Red, I hadn't thought of TIM actually?
I will definitely use distilled then! don't want all that mess!
I thought the Bluray player might be a bit of a nightmare, I will check dimensions :)
I am tempted actually to go for an 850watt power supply actually, glad you mentioned that so I will up the anti a little it ;)
Yeah fittings are difficult so I'll take them as I go.
I will go for red tubing I think, with the motherboard theme etc... it should look pretty nice.

In regards to the Cosmos 2 fan controller update, I was wondering what the update adds? was there an issue with the older ones?

thanks for all your advice again, really appreciate it, I actually managed to convince another friend to go water cooling and using your advice I sounded like an expert xD

I'll point them to this thread though so they know its you!

The old fan controller uses the green PCB. IT had some problems with fan compatibility and some LED fans. The new style with the black PCB resolves this. I would think anything they are shipping has the new design, but if not, they will send you a complete new top assembly. I can direct you on how to order that if necessary.
I got the old style obviously because I reviewed the Cosmos 2 for OCC and got one of the first units, and got the new unit in about a week.

*** I was just reminded that the upgrade is only available in north America. Lucky you, I have an extra one. Have a peek under the hood when you get the unit and see which you have. I have a sneaking suspicion you are going to get the old style
If you do, I will send you the correct one.

    Thanks Red!

Yeah I will speak to the company (Scan.co.uk) to see if they are shipping the new ones, from what I've read they have been since July 2012 in america? would be really annoying if the UK got missed out!

But in any case, I'm quite lucky you have one spare! I won't be purchasing this case though until 20th of March 2013 so I've got a good 2 months and 6 days remaining! in that time though I plan on getting rid of all my debts (credit card, family & friends) as I've moved back in with my parents for a bit since living on your own in the UK seems to be the most expensive thing on this planet currently, even renting the smallest crappiest flat seems to cost a fortune at the moment.

but no matter, because that gives me (as of March anyway) about £700 playing money each month for this PC! since my plan is to have it all done by august I should easily achieve that.

Also as of March we should be getting Fibre broadband as well so my parents will finally get off AOL -_-
I didn't think AOL was still alive...

Man... I was thinking on going with a pair of AIO water cooling kits (one for CPU and one for the GPU) and shoe horn them into a Silverstone Temjin TJ08B-E... but that triple rad with the CCFL lighting looks so good that it makes me want to reconsider the small case kick I've been on for the last couple years.

Hmm, I have a similar setup now, watercooled i7-3770K & GTX680. Even the same PSU - AX750. I measured the power with a watt meter some time ago and under load my system was pulling less than 400W, so I'm not going to upgrade my PSU even if I add another 680.

I got the GPU block a couple of days ago and had to redo some of the tubing.

    I'm using all EK - H3O 360 HFX kit with FC680 block.

The only minor complaint I have about this is the slight rattling from the pump.

That is a much cheaper way of doing things xD how well does it work temperature wise? and did you need to buy anything else with the kit to get it all hooked up? also, would that kit allow a D3 pump to be added instead?

On load GPU never goes above 40°C, CPU stays below 50°C. They're in a single loop (obviously) with GPU first. I bought some additional tubing from a local hardware store, they only had 14/10mm ("12/10 would only leave it 1mm thick, it's too weak" said the clerk - I didn't say what it was for). Enough tubing to put the radiator about a meter away from the computer :) Also a couple of extra G1/4" fittings. I suppose your pump would work too since it has the same threading (G1/4").
