First laptops with Intel Sandy Bridge CPUs spotted

    Intel isn’t expected to formally launch Sandy Bridge until early January at CES 2011, but laptop manufacturers are already gearing up to start selling products based on the company’s latest mobile platform. Laptoping did some digging around and found three laptops models from Lenovo, Acer and Gateway, each sporting the quad-core Core i7-2630QM running at 2GHz.

    Mobile quads at 2 Ghz on 32nm. Really hope i can buy a laptop in '11 :) maybe something from Asus with one of the 'k' parts :)

    Bring on Sandy Bridge... although I am building myself a AM3 desktop right now, so I guess this won't help me, but innovation is still cool to watch :)
    I am Interested to see the first desktop CPUs come out soon, along with TS's benchmarks.
