First time build gone wrong and I need help

    I'm stubbornly trying to eliminate or confirm the PSU is the problem but it's rough going. If not the PSU, then the motherboard is definitely a likely candidate.

    Sadly, this is not a mythological computer and this is a real problem. Doesn't it seem like what is happening to me is like a myth? Lol. I think right now I'm leaning toward it being a motherboard problem/psu problem because it doesn't really seem like there is much evidence of the CPU not working like it should. Agree or disagree?

    Could well be a combination of all 3.

    I second captaincrankey's opinion to get a 3rd set of parts and get somebody who is qualified to build the computer for you.
