First time builder assistance please!

Ok, so I know some of you helped me pick out these parts for my new PC, I will repost them here, and am interested in any important knowledge I should have before beginning... Also, unfortunately my deliveries are slightly staggered and I receive everything but my Case and Cooling unit on Tuesday. I obviously can't do much until I get my Case, but is there anything I can? And unfortunately the cooling unit doesnt come in until Thursday, can i put it all together and run it without the cooling unit, or should i wait for the cooling unit before I do anything?
