Forced To Under-Clock :(

I bought this computer a while ago and have been getting errors and random reboots while playing any games. I couldn't pin point what was going wrong untill i decided to try underclocking this does work but im running @ 160fsb and the standard is 166fsb i dont know why i have to under-clock to get my computer to work correctly. Cooling isnt the problem as i have 5 80mm fans in a thermaltake case. My computer

1gig DDR 400 pc3200 (2x512)
Thermaltake Purepower 420W
Western Digital 8mb cache 7200rpm 200gig
Soundblaster Live! Card

See if theres an updated BIOS for the board.

Yeh, i kinda dont wanna risk updating the bios becuase ive heard some bad things about it screwing up boards. I dont have a floppy drive to back my bios up either. But if you can talk me out of it im open for comments :giddy:
