Forgotten my laptop password

I have a laptop not used it since last year and have forgotten the password or the ones I've tried are not correct
Have tried the 3 questions reset but saying its wrong
what can I do?

I have had some success with password reset CDs/USB sticks, but is inconsistent for me. With Windows 10 I don't even hesitate. I backup data and reinstall Windows. The installation is so fast and I usually tell myself> "It's time for a fresh rebuild anyways"
