FPS drops while play Counter-Strike / Warcraft

Hi ,
My System Config is Dual core 2.66 GHZ , 2 GB DDR2 RAM ,
ATI RADEON HD 5450 1 GB DDR3 Graphics , 600 gb HDD,.
Win XP SP 3 Performance edition. Why does my FPS drop?
Generally system is fast for all other tasks. Installed Latest
GFX card drivers also. but in game if anyone comes in front
fps drops to 30 fps . Pls suggest a solution .. is this issue wid RAM ?
 
You do know there is no such thing as a legitimate copy of Windows XP SP3 Performance Edition. Only goodness knows what's included on that install, but the obvious issue is your video card. It's slightly better than a on-board video chip. That card is the kind used for extending a desktop over 2 monitors or watching a blu-ray movie on an HD monitor, it isn't the kind you play games on and expect to get great frame rates. Your frame rates drop because your video card is struggling to draw everything in your line of sight. Your memory is fine for XP. I used to have 2 GB of memory when I was using XP, just make sure you have less than five programs running in the system tray at any time. My anti-virus, sound and video driver appear in the system tray, so you may want something similar to that too.
