Frequent crashing for no apparent reason, any suggestions?

Hi people,
I'm running an AMD phenom quad on windows seven 64bit, and for some reason whenever I run a game and sometimes on certain websites my mouse will stop working and ill get a wierd but loud feedback kind of noise from the speakers. I've tried everything I can think of, updated all my drivers, clean reboot, re built my computer, everything. It seems to happen at random, all I can say is that it happens everytime I try to play battlefield bad company 2.
I'll be on here all day so any advice will be very much appreciated
Also apologies if this is in the wrong forum
