  1. I'm having trouble connecting to my FTP site that i created using another PC outside of my home network. Inside my home network i created i am having no problems with the usernames, password, or viewing the files that are store there. However I have tried at 2 separate pc's other than home & none will connect to the site to even ask for my login/password... i sure would appreciate some feedback on this one... Thanks!

    to summarize:
    1) a 2nd party host contains the FTP server and file store
    2) from your Home/pc, you have access and can up/down load ok
    3) your friends on their systems can not access the ftp srvr(1)

if this is correct, then users(3) have issues with routing/name resolution.
SPECIFICALLY, what msgs occur for your friends when they attempt to access?
