    Hi.

I have a 40 GB harddisk in my computer which turns out to become too small. GA support told mke I can run up to 123 GB hard drive space using muy F7 bios status. In this board I read that 75 GB seem to be the upper limit. Does anybody know the upper limt ? Do those values refer to having one hard drive or would a master/slave configuration allow me to have two times 75 GB (123 GB respect.) ?

Also has anyone flashed the bios to F8 while having Windows 2000 as OS ? It seems I cannot make a boot diskette using Windows 2000. On the other hand the 71XE4 doesn't support GAs bios upgrade tools. Any suggestions ?

    Thank you.

well here is a site that shows you how to make a single bootable disk for win 2000.

    http://www.nu2.nu/bootdisk/ntboot/

you might be able to use it to do the flash it's worth trying out.
