Gadget Diet :) ?

Ever since I got my smartphone in September, I haven't used my pc other than to type assignments and to game. There are great calendar apps that kill the need for gadgets.

Wanna buy me a smartphone? They're wayyy out of my $$$ range.

You're missing the point by a wide mile. Just because you like to take your phone out of your pocket to check the date - this doesn't sit with people who prefer to mouse over to desktop-peek button.

Yes, I know, but I am just telling my point of view. Learningmypc likes the desktop, I like my phone as my calender . We are all different .

I just remember that I used to have a Google calender widget on my old work laptop running XP. It was a widget for the Google desktop. It stopped working after IT updated some settings. When it was working, I also had a weather widget. They were convenient.

Just did a search, it's no longer supported but can be downloaded from Filehippo, Techspot, etc.

Even if I was rich enough to own a smartphone, I'd still know its faster & easier to see my calendar on my wall.
Lets not turn this into an argument of likes & dislikes.
The situation with my desktop calendar is over. Lets leave it at that.
Enjoy your smartphone as I enjoy my wall calendar.

I hope this doesnt change our coolio relationship.

After thinking about it I actually use my wall calendar more than I think. I just havent gone out and bought a 13' one yet lol.
