Well, it is. Yes, arguably civ4 does some things better (diplomacy, for instance) but civ5 is the superior game.

These are all great games. I especially loved the Commando and Command and Conquer Series. I find that the old isometric view like age of empires still look pretty good, more than passable.

I have to agree with you on this one. The Command and Conquer series have really been a big thing for me. C&C is one of my favorite strategic war games. I wish there were more games like this out there.

I guess since TF2 is still going strong, Team Fortress doesn't qualify for a mention here, but the only other CTF game I had as much fun playing as that was Tribes 2. Man, that was fun! Ohh lookie here... a free version and community putting it back online? (http://www.tribesnext.com)

Most of these are remasters not the actual old games I have in the boxes from 90's. Was hoping you would tell me which of those worked. Now it's just "what games re-released in last year still work" which is kinda pointless.
