Hey guys could you help me build a gaming computer with a budget of 500 to possibly 550$ this will be my first build so if you guys could explain everything to me that would be great (though I think that is TOO much work)

What games are you wanting to play?
What resolutions do you intend on using?
Do you have a PC you are upgrading or do you need all new parts?

To add another question to the list cliff started, do you already have an operating system?

$500 - $550 is doable for a gaming build IF you don't have to start from scratch. However, if you need to buy a new monitor and operating system and plan on playing the latest DX11 games, it'll be tough.

$500 will not go far when building a new computer especially for gaming. $1,000 would be much more fun. I have always loved building computers. It is very satisfying when you are done and it screams.
