    hey all,
looking into the asus 1000h netbook and i'm wondering if anyone has tried play moderate games like mechcommander 2 or maybe even morrowind on it with any success? my main concern is the lack of a dedicated video card, all my notebooks have had some sort of very basic video card and i'm wondering how big a hit i'd take on older games.

It is always a crapshoot when you use or choose a lesser laptop for gaming... With 1GB system RAM and an 80GB hard drive you may be ok. Don't expect too much, and you won't be disappointed

i'm not expecting to play major games :) and morrowind might be a stretch i admit, how about something in the neighborhood of an aurora/infinity engine game? (planescape: torment, the baldur's gate series. etc)?
also, would upgrading to a 2 gig stick make much of a difference?

    Yes 2GB would help
