  1. Hey guys.
I was wondering if this new Nindendo DS will kill the GBA.
I was interested in buying a GBA, but now I dont know if I should.
The Nintendo DS will be released this year I think, so I dont know if the game companys are gonna stop making GBA games because of the Nintendo DS.
    Your feedback would be great.
    Thanks
    :D

Detail rumours around the net state that the Nintendo DS will have SDRAM games (those cards which you also can use in your digital camera).
And these are not like gba games at the moment.

I would wait for the Nintendo DS if you have patient!

Supposedly it will play GBA games also. That's a huge library to start from and I doubt you'll see that come to a sudden halt.

Definetely wait for the DS. It will come out around christmas in the USA and in Q1 2005 in the UK. The DS is more powerful than the N64, it is backwards compatible with GBA games, it's battery life is similair to the GBA and the games come on carts with around 1gb of space. But whatever you do, don't buy the PSP, it needs memory cards (which is ok for home gaming, but it's just not acceptable for handheld gaming) and it's battery life is a mere 2 hours. Also, it's supposed to be quite a bit bigger than the DS.
