gecube radeon 9600 pro 256mb problem

i recently bought a 9600 pro graphics card from ebay without the driver disc (stupid i know, but it was a bargain...or so i thought).

i downloaded the latest drivers from the ati site and device manager registered them and recognised the card, but photos and text has lines down them, so does video when i play it.

also, games look like this. notice the blocks all over the place in a pattern

any help you can give to help solve this would be greatly appreciated

im using an nforc3 mboard. just read that the cards have major problems with that board.

is there anymore help from anyone? or should i just get rid of that graphics card?

You could try putting the card in another computer, just to check if it still does the same thing.

Other than that, get rid of it.

whats your opinion on a Radeon X550 256mb?

I can`t give you an opinon, because I don`t play games. Hence the Geforce4 mx4000 in my system lol.

I`m sure other members will give you an opinion though.
