Hi guys!
I seem to have a very, very weird problem with the new video card I just installed. Its a Geforce 6600LE, which runs quite well when using windows or surfing the net. When I go to play a game however it decides to run for about 10 min then it minimizes itself into the task bar. One click on the minimized program brings it back to full screen. To make thing harder for everyone the games that have this problem are Homeworld2, The Sims 2 and Rollercoaster Tycoon 3, However Quake 4 doen't do it. The games dont crash, the OS doesnt crash just the weird minimizing. I updated the drivers but it still does it. Can someone please help me.
My system specs are as follows:
P4 3.00Ghz
Direct X 9c
Windows XP service pack 1
Idle Tep approx 49 deg C
