Hey all, I picked up a geforce 6800 ultra in December. Last week I noticed some weird artifacts when using 2D apps on the windows xp desktop (most notably quicken and IE). What happens is, for certain apps, every now and again, I'll get a whole horizontal line of pixels (or 2) across the screen to flicker. Occasionally, I get a bleeding effect too.

I thought it was the card, but I returned it and got a new one and the effect is still there.

It doesn't happen all the time and if I minimize the app and re-open it, it'll go away.

I've gotten the latest drivers, and my display hasn't caused me problems.

    Thoughts?

Maybe your monitor? Try another to check if you can.

I had the same problem plug the monitor into to the other port on the graphics card that fixed my problem

Try older graphics drivers. There have been problems reported with version 77.72 if that's the one you have.
