Getting back Microsoft Outlook information after format

I'm trying to retrieve back information (I.e; emails, contacts, ...etc) of Microsoft Outlook 2007 after the hard disk (C drive) has been formatted? How can I do that?

Did you keep the Outlook PST or create any backups before reformatting?

No really. The issue is that an IT guy formatted the machine, and we knew about the PST until it was too late. How to recover in this case? Is it really too late? I'm sure there would be a solution?

Sorry mate, whenever we make a decision to reformat, the issue of how do I recover my critical files MUST be considered BEFORE the reformat is started
